GOAL LogoJoin us on February 28th to enjoy a glimpse of life in the Upstate in years gone by at the Gathering on Appalachian Life. During the opening session, listen and be entertained by presenters Dr Tom Cloer (writer, historian, and storyteller), Dennis Chastain (naturalist, writer, and historian), and Dot Jackson (journalist, author and storyteller).  Choose from over 30 interactive workshops and tours to attend during four, hour-long sessions.  Eat an Appalachian dinner prepared “from scratch.”  Shop and buy at vendor tables and a silent auction.  Visit different venues in the Pickens area including Hagood Mill and Hagood-Mauldin House.

PRA-small-4CJoin PRA Today! The Pickens Chamber and the Pickens Revitalization Association are offering a joint membership program. When you join both organizations, you’ll not only show your support for both organizations, but you will enjoy a discount on membership fees.  It’s only logical that our two organizations “join forces”. We share many of the same goals and complement each other in numerous ways. Our ultimate goal is to make Pickens, and the area, the best place to live, work, play and to own a business.
